I have worked in the moving industry for over 18 years. Being able to help our customers through one of the most stressful moments of their life is just one thing I’ve always taken pride in. With roughly 4800 moves under my belt there’s not many moving challenges I haven’t handled. Each customer has a unique set of challenges with their specific move and with our diverse experience we can handle those challenges. Here at Fischer Van Lines, we offer a personal touch that corporate Van Lines just can’t offer.

Hello my name is Lindsay. I’m originally from Wisconsin and moved to Colorado in August of 2014. I was fortunate to find a great place to work for here at Fischer Van Lines llc. I’m the Assistant Office Administrator here at FVL. It’s a privilege to be able to help people with their moving needs. Especially since moving is so much fun! I am a 25-year-old Denver Native. I attended Heritage High School class of 2011 and then went to Metro State University. I enjoy fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors in my free time. I’m proud to say that I am a professional powerlifter ranked #1 in Colorado!! Fischer is a great opportunity to get a great workout and meet awesome people all over Colorado. I started moving for Fischer Van Lines when I was in EMT school. I fell in love with the industry as it’s one more way to help people daily, not to mention a great workout! I enjoy being technically proficient in any field I am involved in and this is one of the few skilled labor jobs in which one has direct interaction with the cliental throughout the daily routine. I plan to continue moving as I go through paramedic school and it will always be a viable option going forward in my life. Fischer Van Lines is like a family to me and I’m proud to be a part of the team here now and in the future.

First year in the moving business. I had 20 years in residential remodel and wanted a change of scenery. I have always required a job that is physical and fast paced. So, what better than the fast-paced moving industry! Not much feels good like after a hard day’s work and a successful move. Especially the difficult ones. I feel so blessed that I came to work for Fischer Van Lines. This company sets the bar in the industry and I couldn’t have chosen better. I am originally from Lubbock, Texas and moved to Denver about 3 years ago after a friend from college invited me to come here. I am a retail and restaurant manager by trade but came across Fischer Van Lines and wanted to give it a try. I decided to apply based on my 4 years on the USMC driving large vehicles and have loved it ever since. Fischer Van Lines is a great family like work environment and I have enjoyed the interactions with the wonderful people that we help get settled into their homes.

I started moving at the age of 18 for my uncle’s moving company that he helped start up in Grand Junction called “All Pro Moving”. I learned everything I know from there and stayed with it for 5 years. I love moving because you’re never doing the same thing every day. New people, new places, new challenges. I love helping people out as much as possible and making a stressful day into a stress-free day! I love working at Fischer Van Lines because everyone that works here is more than just a co-worker.
